Who knew the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 cc, a biker-engine segment motorcycle, could also be in the budget? Well, until 2022, there were no hopes of finding bigger-engine bikes in this segment. On one hand, manufacturers started to offer new, smaller engine bikes that offer increased performance. For example, the KTM Duke 125, which cost 1.75 lakh when launched, while the Hero XPulse 210 costs 1.85 lakh. On the other hand, the 150cc segment bikes were getting upgraded in features and pricing as well.
Until 2025, the Yamaha R15 has been the only 150cc segment bike that ranges to 2 lakh rupees. But the gap of owning a bigger engine bike was huge and untapped. However, observing the gap in the market, Royal Enfield tapped the opportunity and offered the Hunter 350. An ideal motorcycle for customers who had budget constraints and the bikers who wished to upgrade from a 125 or 150 cc motorcycle.
As planned, the bike garnered huge success with its sales. Each year, the bike was in demand and had crossed 500,000 unit sales globally in August 2022. Even in the 2024-25 fiscal year, more than 8 lakh units were sold with a 7% increase compared to the previous year. Understanding the market requirement and the flaws in the bike despite being a huge success, Royal Enfield has worked to offer a new and better upgrade with its latest 2025 model. Surprisingly, with new and improved features, the bikes still cater to the same segment of audience, which still has limited options in the Indian automobile market.
The best-selling Royal Enfield has now become the best offering too. So, let’s take a look at what has been changed in the 2025 Hunter 350?
