It is time for Honda Elevate

Honda is among the most reliable automobile brands in the world. Since the beginning, the brand has offered some great cars which till now are functioning perfectly. The engine and the build quality are still a priority has helped Honda with its huge customer base across the globe.

In India, Honda has very limited cars in the market which is the major reason why the brand is unable to capture a majority of the market. Also, the extreme competition is another major reason which is why Honda has lagged behind the competition in the past year. However, now the brand is preparing to add more cars to the portfolio to compete and stand tall in the Indian market the way it does in the Global.

Since the last 4-5 years the brand has performed decently in the sedan and hatchback segment. While the SUV segment is where the brand has suffered a lot. With CRV and WRV being the cars in the market that didn’t perform as expected, the brand has to unfortunately stop production and start to build something new for the evolving market.

So here we are today, September 4th, 2023, where we get to see all the details of the much-awaited Honda Elevate which is set to enter the Indian market in the SUV segment. Honda Elevate is a midsize SUV that would be competing against the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Tata Nexon, Toyota Urban Cruiser, MG Astor and Hyundai Creta

While the car is up for pre-booking and the specs have already been released it is time to know the pricing that would make the difference.

Honda has worked a lot to bring its best in the market, however, the competition is way ahead of what Honda has to offer. The built and engine quality is what can make a difference for the customers. I personally believe that the car can have better power and features when it is entering a tough and packed market. Hopefully, this Honda SUV will perform as per the expectations of the company.

Now, without any further ado, let’s take a look at what Honda Elevate has to offer to the Indian audience.

Honda Elevate Variants and Price

Honda Elevate Rear Profile

The all-new Honda SUV is set to rule the Indian roads. It comes in four different variants for both manual and automatic transmission. As compared to the competitors the Honda Elevate price of top end is much lower, whereas the introductory price is somewhat similar. Let’s now dive directly into the variant-wise brief about Honda’s all-new SUV.

SV Variant

SV or the base variant of Honda Elevate is priced at rupees 11 lakh. Unlike the other cars’ base models, this one offers everything necessary for making the ride better. The variant is available with a 5-speed manual transmission option only. However, other features like LED DRLs, projector headlamps, steel wheels (R16), Keyless entry, start-stop button, steering mounted controls, power rear view mirror, auto climate control and many others come with the base variants.

Isn’t it amazing to get all these features in the base variant? I have never seen any car maker offering so much in their base models. Apart from these features, there are some other safety features also which make it stand out. The list of safety features in the SV variants includes ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, dual airbags, brake assist, vehicle stability assist, traction control, electronic stability control and hill start assist, which are some of the prominent ones from the long list of features.

V Variant

Now talking about the upgrade from the base or the SV variant, V comes with both manual and automatic transmission options. Apart from all the features offered in the SV variant, additional features that you get to see in V variants are wheel covers, an 8-inch infotainment system, Honda connect with Alexa and smartphone connectivity, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 4-speaker audio system, Bluetooth connectivity, remote engine start (CVT), paddle shifter and a rearview camera.

The Honda Elevate V variant manual transmission costs 12.11 lakh and 13.21 lakh for the CVT/automatic variant.

VX Variant

Next up is the second last variant of the Honda Elevate which offers value for money when it comes to the price and offerings. The SUV is available in both manual and automatic transmission for 13.50 and 14.60 lakh ex-showroom price.

Adding to the feature list of the V variant, the VX variant comes with an electric sunroof, LED projector fog lamps, diamond cut R17 alloy wheels, Leather gear knob and steering wheel, auto folding ORVMs, a 7-inch instrument cluster, 6 speaker audio system, auto headlights, wireless phone charger, rear wiper and washer.

ZX Variant

Last up, is the top model of the Honda Elevate which offers everything that you have thought to have in your car. It comes with better safety as it has 6 airbags instead of two, Honda sensing (ADAS).

Apart from this other features include chrome door handles, Leatherette upholstery, and a 10.25-inch infotainment system with 4 speakers and 4 tweeters. Honda Elevate’s top model will cost you 14.90 for manual transmission and 16 lakh for automatic ex-showroom.

These were the four variants of the new Honda Elevate. In these variants, the customers have the option to choose between the 10 different colour options including 7 mono-tone and 3 dual-tone. The list of options includes obsidian blue, platinum white pearl, phoenix orange pearl, radiant red metallic, lunar silver metallic, golden brown metallic and meteoroid gray pearl.

The dual-tone options have black pearl roof with phoenix orange pearl, platinum red metallic and platinum white pearl in combination.

Safety features in Honda Elevate

The much-awaited Honda Elevate is in the market with amazing pricing and features. However, the past has much to say about the Honda SUVs, can this car change the game for Honda? With 4 different variants and 10 different colour options, the car offers ample options for the customers to choose from. I think Elevate would be a great choice in a fully packed market.
